Ok I know there are more profound things to say about the Super Bowl 1/2 t show & people are saying those things, but I keep thinking about Kendrick Lamar’s jeans. They reminded me of my jeans in high school and they were damn sexy. Obviously he was making more profound points but damn those jeans

genuinely confused. Mildred Garcia, CSU Chancellor, announced a new AI initiative. Our universities are gonna provide the workforce to “drive California’s future AI-driven economy.” We are gonna leverage AI for “impactful solutions” to climate change. What hellscape are we building? What? Why? What?

Frederick Douglas said that the US tends to “impute crime to color.” Angela Davis teaches us that having committed criminalized acts isn’t the only or even main reason folks are locked up. Many wealthy white dudes rape, kill, steal and commit all manner of other fuckery and don’t end up behind bars.

Okay can we stop using ‘felon’ as some insult against Trump? It seems to me that we risk reproducing the disposability of Black and brown folks. It doesn’t stick to him.
