So please, try out masks, find one that works for you. The studies show even a cloth mask makes a difference in stopping you from spreading illness to other people. If nothing else, when you see another person in a mask, consider putting one on so they aren’t alone. 💕

I truly believe that we shouldn’t let perfect be the enemy of the good. You won’t find me in people’s replies policing whether they wore the right type of mask or mad that they removed their mask for a selfie. But I believe a lot of us can and should be doing better to stop spread of Covid!

I won’t pretend masks never get annoying or that everyone is always nice about them. But it’s become a standard part of my life, and it’s made a difference in my health as well as in breaking chains of transmission. If anyone wants tips or recommendations for masks, hmu!

When I bring up Covid caution to people, they think of lockdowns and imagine their social lives ending. I want to show people that a vibrant social life can and should involve masking! I wear one in indoor public spaces, some private indoor spaces, outdoor crowds, and outdoors w Covid cautious ppl.

Anyway I just thought I should make some posts with original thoughts so ppl could tell I’m not a bot 👍 check out that album, it’s good and will make you cry in a good way.

Poison Oak is a song I only recently realized to be about losing a queer family member to suicide and realizing that staying closeted just isn’t an option anymore. It’s interesting to me how much I connected to this song as a 10 year old. Before I knew I was queer or that so many hated queer ppl.
