Lung cancer screening guidance needed for certain never-smokers Lung cancer screening guidelines do not exist for individuals who never smoked, but data presented at International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) World Conference on Lung Cancer indicate they may be necessary.In a study of 1,000 Asian women who never smoked, low-dose CT detected lung cancer at a similar rate as trials that included patients with elevated risk.
