how is windows 10 search so bad. I try to search for "keepass" to either open the password manager program (KeePassXC) or the database file itself (keepassx.kdbx) and the only thing the search function can find is web results??

a combination of legal challenges and a seemingly unsustainable business model, and the recent hack didn't exactly boost my confidence

i feel like the only long-term solution (i am fully expecting IA and the other archive site to collapse within 5 years) is hosting a semi-private mirror (outside Fandom)

I'm not a lawyer, of course, but I don't see how IA taking full page screenshots/storing html+css (like they do right now?) would be any more fair use than if Wookieepedia were to do the same.

there's no easy solution, but I don't see how copyright would be an issue if it isn't one for IA

and the scary part is that I don't trust IA that much either
