Didn’t Toronto experiment with making Yonge St a pedestrian mall in the 70s and it was widely seen to have been a flop? Anyways having more pedestrian malls can’t happen in Olivia Chow’s or anyone else’s Toronto since you and I both know Doug Ford would ban it instantly

Maybe she actually wants the federal government to play hardball so she can force the hand of the conservative suburban councillors. As usual the so called “gatekeepers” are the Liberal and Tory councillors from the ‘burbs
