09.02.2026 19:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I need this book!
09.02.2026 15:16 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Definitely! I want to give Sphere a go. I feel like I've seen the movie but it was so long ago I don't remember anything about it.
09.02.2026 12:34 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Ooooh thank you! That's definitely my sort of thing!
09.02.2026 08:19 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I will check it out. Thanks for the recommendation!
09.02.2026 04:22 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Oh wow, just had a look, I didn't even know that was originally a novel. I'll definitely check it out thanks!
09.02.2026 03:50 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A first-person perspective of a hand holding a paperback copy of Michael Crichtonโs 'Jurassic Park'. The background is a lush, green littoral rainforest in Murramarang National Park, slightly out of focus, with dense ferns and tall trees.
I read Jurassic Park last week
As a lifelong fan of the movie, I'm a little ashamed it's taken me until now to read the book
Happy to say that Dr Ian Malcolm is still my favorite character (even more so now)
I'm now looking for more recs of books that became classic films

Hmm interesting.. my feed is filled with books and video games and movies... I wonder why your feed shows you that

Love the book math to get yourself a new kindle. I wish my mum wanted a kindle...
04.02.2026 07:51 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0This one has been on my tbr for a while. I might need to bump it up!
03.02.2026 21:17 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yes I agree, I'll probably have a gap between Jurassic Park and The Lost World.
I was at the thrift store today and they had just been given a box of King books, so there will be more in my Feb haul.
I've heard that from so many. Just started It today only 50 pages in. I'll be camping in a rainforest for a few days from tomorrow so it should be a good immersive read!
03.02.2026 03:57 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0A vertical stack of five books resting on a wooden surface. From bottom to top: a hardcover edition of 'The Lost World' by Michael Crichton, followed by four paperbacks: 'The Tattooist of Auschwitz' by Heather Morris 'I'll Be Gone in the Dark' by Michelle McNamara, 'Jurassic Park' by Michael Crichton, and 'The Shining' by Stephen King.
My January thrift book haul
$7 for the 5 books!
Which one should I move to the top of the pile?
The Shining - I needed the physical copy.
Jurassic Park - It's finally off my TBR.
Iโll Be Gone in the Dark
Tattooist of Auschwitz
The Lost World - I couldn't leave the hardcover!

Scary I could repost this as mine... Minus the nail polish ๐ The kindle one though I struggle with because I don't want to be that guy but the convenience, the font customization, and once you get a page turner remote it's game over for physical books.
22.01.2026 13:19 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0"emotional chokehold" perfectly describes reading this book. All of PRK's books hit, I'm looking forward to his new one coming out in April, already pre-ordered it! Looking forward to seeing your review on this on!

20.01.2026 12:50 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I found this book at a thrift store yesterday. It's been on my TBR for too long.
15.01.2026 05:30 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I thought this was going to be easy, but there were Spain Spanish publications and Latin American Spanish publications. i made a list of the Latin American Spanish ones here: search.worldcat.org/lists/1f8f0e...
14.01.2026 18:07 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Just read this one myself. It was enjoyable and I needed some short ones to make my numbers better. I'm nowhere near your 90 though that's impressive

23.12.2025 14:00 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Great review. The eeriness of it reminds me of the quote "If you're not paying for the product, you are the product." Scary to think your personal information is either being weaponized or monetized.
23.12.2025 12:53 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I think you've done enough.
20.12.2025 15:22 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'm even more intrigued now. Looking forward to the first post.
20.12.2025 14:50 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The positive Goodreads reviews (average 4.40!) convinced me to give it a go, and I'm glad I did. Just finished the first story and loved it! Particularly enjoyed the classic creepy tension and atmosphere. I want to save the rest for an upcoming camping trip but I don't think I'll be able to wait!
20.12.2025 13:39 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0That's a good project. When are the first recs dropping? I'm trying to think of some dude books I've read, I'm thinking like the A. American series, or Cormac McCarthy am I on the right track?
20.12.2025 13:17 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0On the bright side, it just means the story you enjoy lasts longer! ๐ But seriously, this is the perfect predicament for my article in progress. The working title is "A Case for Kindle." Hope Book 2 arrives quickly!
19.12.2025 14:07 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0At a previous workplace they would fly into the office window early morning and all land on their backs. By mid-morning they'd start getting taken apart by ants, so one of my first tasks on arriving was to go and turn them all over.
