It's not a women's movie—it's an essentialist fantasy written and directed by a man with women characters that are caricatures of actual women.

Most ridiculous movie of the century leads nominations? Has anyone with taste actually seen this movie?? If you seek sophistication, depth, or nuance in your art, this is not the movie for you. Skipping this year's Oscars.

I don't believe in a parental god. Witnessing the senseless devastation & suffering of the world, how could anyone? Weirdly, though, I've always believed in the potential of humans to organize societies for the collective good. A screenwriter might call this my fatal flaw.
