Northern Lights just outside of Cresco, Iowa. It was amazing to witness; some of the pink colors in the sky could be seen with the naked eye! These are the first Northern Lights pictures I have taken.

Decorah, Iowa celebrates it's LGBTQ+ Pride Festival in the fall so that college students can participate. I helped at an author event for the bookstore and took pictures of the parade.

Recently, HRH Prince Haakon of Norway visited Decorah, Iowa to acknowledge 200 years of Norwegian immigration to America. Vesterheim Norwegian American Museum asked my mom to present him with a plate she painted in the Norwegian folk art style of rosemaling. What an honor!

Nate and I drove up to nearby Lanesboro, Minnesota for breakfast at The Lanesboro Pastry Shoppe. They have a list of specials and will also make whatever breakfast you would like. The food is delicious!
