On this day in 1869, the Hamilton Football Club was established. Informally known as Tigers, that name was officially adopted a few years later. In 1950, the club absorbed the Hamilton Wildcats to become the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The club has won eight Grey Cups from 1953 to 1999.

It makes it harder that there were so many blown opportunities in 3 of the 4 losses, at the end of the day the better team won!

I haven't watched a full game of MLB since that strike, my Expos who I followed from their birth were the best team in baseball and looked poised to win it all maybe even vs the defending champs from Toronto! I have watched some of the Jays play off run and have a foot on the bandwagon but MLB 👎

I would like to see that and I think it will be a disaster if the games go ahead in the US but Canada does not have the infrastructure in place to take many more matches at this point! Canada was originally going to be a solo bid until they expanded to 48 teams, Mexico however has stadiums in place!
