Been casually chipping away at DQX progress again, nearly all caught up. Sometimes the DBZ influence hits and it's just so good

Weird to think my account was made 10 years ago 'cause I really wanted to show the game to the western side of speedgaming at the time, always fun to dip back in though

Finished up Tales of Rebirth today, fun game but overall I'd place it pretty low in the series. Still glad I got around to it, the fan translation work was excellent

Just have Symphonia 2 (never played) and a grudge rematch with Arise (quit ~30 hrs in) left in the series

rpg brain held me hostage for 5 seconds when I glanced at the word 'entrance' thinking it was some final fantasy spell instead of just the common word to enter a place

All in all its a good time but definitely curious to see what kind of updates or balancing they might add in the future

New mario kart has been fun but after the 20+ hours I've played online the 24 player limit has been feeling a bit too much overall. It's a special kind of feeling having to fight for your life for the entire track just to stumble yourself to a 15th place finisher or so

Big 100% replay dunzo, game just rules a lot. I enjoyed Ys 9 and 10 to a lesser degree but 8 just really nailed the modern iteration of Ys in one go and def remains my favorite of the recent bunch

Been feeling this one recently, I see the words and my eyes begin to glaze over

So frustrating hearing about the new max hour limit for vod storage on twitch. Specifically for speedruns where archival is important and vod lengths can be quite long

Also urge all to use on screen chat for vods going forward, twitch chat replay has already been iffy and this doesn't help either

Some buds decided to fire up an Okami bookclub for January and I just finished up my playthrough today! Really cool game and lots of fun ideas on the sort of Zelda-like style

Now to sit in the Okami sequel waiting room with everyone else

Yeah I've had this take for a long time now too, it really irks me when stuff like control schemes can't be talked about without some mod or the streamer themselves having a fit, I've really come to appreciate streams that are looser on this front (and even basic nudges where appropriate)
