Preiserhöhung aufgrund von „Inflation, steigende Kosten durch Löhne und Papier“. Sind mit Löhnen auch die Honorare von Übersetzenden gemeint? Oder sind die von der Inflation ausgeschlossen?

Having just flown back to Finland from Japan, through the Bering strait, over Alaska, along the Canadian coast and finally cruising down over Greenland, really made me appreciate the global scale of inconvenience caused by the fact that Russia can’t be a normal civilised country

Yasuhiko Yoshikazu exhibition in Shibuya. Broadly curated collection from his Mecha/animation days to his historical manga. I was surprised how meticulous the condition of almost every piece, even his notebooks from high school looked pristine. I've never seen animation instructions this neat.

Now that I had more time to think about it, it was probably Sesshōmaru.

Discovered this incredible exhibition in Jinbochō by sheer coincidence. You could only reach the gallery via an old elevator hidden inside the entrance. The artists were incredibly kind. Many artworks were based on the shirt story

No Japan visit without a stop at the Takehisa Yumeji/Yayoi museum. If you want to understand the origins of manga in the broader context of Japanese art, this is the place to go. Also has an extremely nice, quiet café I would love to live in.
