I mean, I was 18 then and now I’m 58 and no, sorry, that can’t be right.

This weekend I am going to That London, where I will do my best to get the top deck front seat on the bus from Euston to Herne Hill to see friends I made 40 years when we started our nurse training. I’m flipping between “OMG how exciting” and “OMG how is 1985 40 years ago?”

Oh, for pity sake. I understand why the GP nursing assistant wouldn’t take blood for my coeliac follow-up: it wasn’t on the normal annual bloods schedule and neither of us could find out what it was (tta? IgA? Ttag? Who knows). But just not bothering even with a blood form is just lazy.

And to the guy who is “taking our country back”, you are. Right back to the 19th century. You should be ashamed of yourself and your hypocritical “Christian” values. Christ certainly would.

If you’ve followed me and expect a follow back, I need to recognise your pic or related icon, and/or recognise your bio. If you’re an obviously American evangelical hypocritical “Christian”, you can fuck right off.

A small skein of royal blue yarn.
Ooh, the first Sunday in Advent is both the first Sunday of December and the first day of December. I don’t care if it’s rare or not, I’ve decided it is.
Anyway, i have a yarn calendar this year and have opened Day 1.

Street art of a fish woman whose hair depicts the rise of a hill from cliffs to top.
I’m sure she’s lovely, but I would not want to meet her on a dark night!

And, at a guess, everyone groaned and said “oo, me knees” when they stood up…

Fifth Element. If I’m flicking through the channels and it’s on, I’m there. If I see it in the (physical) listings, I’ll be there ready. Aziz! Light!

Dave has arrived, so you should be able to find @davebudd. I can’t, so either I’ve done something wrong or he has. Any ideas?

I would follow this up with "check the colour". I have two corporate branded hoodies, both of which were free with various events (beats a ball-point pen any day). However, one is purple and the other bright pink...

I could have sworn I posted to say I’d ask Dave what the level was here, but obvs didn’t. For the record, we’ve just had a flood alert.

Shall I get Dave to check the level at our end as an early warning?
