This is exciting news, but given Kumbak's track record, I'm going to guess that once they start testing it, lots of problems/reliability will ensue. So I'm still not exactly holding my breath for anything opening anytime soon.

I got that email too, very exciting! Diamond Elite VIP gets 4 Fastlane passes per visit... will it be that way at CF parks as well (honestly, I'm guessing it'll be one, but it's unclear)? And it says haunts are included, but I'm going to figure KSF is exempt.

If it’s any consolation, if they run this like they do out here, all the passes CAN enter the park and experience all the scare zones and rides. It’s only the mazes themselves that are the upcharge.

Still seems to break that term, granted.

That’s a fair point. Have they said what the charge will be? Out here, there’s levels (General being the cheapest, but there’s also higher priced Express tickets).

And there’s usually discounts for AP holders. Granted, I do get the “changing the terms” argument

Six Flags Magic Mountain Saw facade revealed, and wow! This is really impressive by Six Flags standards. It almost approaches Universal quality! 😲

Seems there is a new, updated facade going up at Trick ‘r Treat! Looking much better already, with an entrance that actually faces the queue.

In the last pic, you can make out a ghost prop (which I assume will be moved inside)

No visible changes at the old Stranger Things space, where @parkjourney.com confirmed the new Carnage maze will be going.

There is a lot of construction in the old Aftermath space, but it does not appear haunt related (to that space, at least). Seems more general construction.

I know both CGA and SWSD both also have closed off sections of the park during haunts for a while now, so this isn’t new. Disappointing, sure, but not new

I mean, SFMM rarely changes their mazes, and still upcharge for them, and have for many years.

Mazes are expensive to run and staff, and go beyond the normal park. I figure the cost goes to their maintenance and cast, and is acceptable to me.

It's shocking to me that they've been included all this time. It's always been an upcharge here, if not a full out separate admission, like Universal or Knott's.

Honestly, you've been kind of spoiled. At all theme parks in California, haunt mazes have been an upcharge virtually from the beginning, if not a flat out separately priced ticket like Universal and Knott's

It's a bummer to lose a maze, but on the other hand, it could mean that other mazes could gain scareactors. Or they're just cutting positions, but I choose to be hopeful. 🤞

Sewer has been around a long time virtually unchanged, and is one of the weaker themes. Though the best scareactors

So basically everything is back (Including Saw, Conjuring, and Trick 'r Treat), we are getting a new maze "Carnage" (maybe the Aftermath space?), and Sewer of Souls has been removed.

Just finished watching Season 1 of Slasher: The Executioner (Nextflix). The show was shot and set in Canada, and in Ep 6, this showed up (pic on left). This is the Rosebud hotel from Schitt's Creek, right? I don't see much confirming this online elsewhere, but it seems pretty certain to me 😄

It amazes me how many people never realized the Knott's parachute drop was ridden standing up, with basically no restraints.

Listed to the horror podcast series Ghost Tape. A military woman discovers a seemingly haunted tape of her Grandfathers that has disturbing effects on people. Great production and acting! I liked it a lot. 8 episodes, 20-25 min each, so it's a pretty quick listen.
