The small town I grew up in and where my grandpa spent his life, dedicated to giving back to the community, planted a tree in his honor. It’s still weird he’s gone, but nice to have a physical reminder that he mattered to others too.

Pardon my absence. My grandfather has entered his last days, so I’ve been prioritizing him and his comfort. He was the biggest rock in my life and facing the rest of it without him is so hard to fathom.
