Excellent little status update on the Swedish green steel industry bets, by Swedish Radio. Sincerely have my fingers crossed that these initiatives succeed to start the green transition on a global scale.

Green ammonia to be sold from the Neom project in 2027. Will be a substantial milestone for Power-to-X when these production volumes enter the market. 80% done, but we all know the last 20% can take longer than expected.

But yeah,, it should be said that the end customer of the solar energy is also counting their reduced emissions and patting themselves on the shoulder. So all these ideas about who can claim the reduction is flawed. But it is a tangible impact at least.
01.06.2025 20:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A quite sensible way to have some small climate impact: invest in solar.
For 100β¬ I get to reduce emissions by 2.3 tons of CO2 (from the electricity in the country of the loan-taker). Equivalent to 32% of a typical EU citizens yearly emissions. Tangible!

Exactly!!! Europe needs to boycott the shit out of him!!
One thing he can't stand is when he is being ignored!

1. TESLA BOYCOTT. Resistance is working. Tesla stocks are down 9%. In Europe, sales are down 45%, even though the EV market actually rose 37%. (NOTE: please don't hate on Tesla drivers! Their anti-Elon bumper stickers might be in the mail...)

EUROPE MUST BOYCOTT TRUMPS USA!
SLAVA UCRAINA FROM SWEDEN!
Time for Europe to raise their game. Time for Europeans to boycott American companies.
28.02.2025 18:39 β π 32 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0Trump's disgraceful bullying of Zelenskyj was a horror to watch. A us president with 0% human dignity. This is unacceptable. Europe needs to come together and take a stance. Time is scarce, but we have to do what we can do fill the defense gap to support Ukraine
28.02.2025 23:29 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0US threatening to shut down starlink in Ukraine. When every piece of infrastructure gets politicized and used as a mean for pushing negotiations, it is apparent that we need a diversity of solutions to survive. At least for us in Europe. But what starlink alternatives are there really?
22.02.2025 08:55 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 2 π 0I'll admit I'm generally a DAC sceptic. We will always be spending more energy removing CO2 from the air than stopping the release at the source. But this is interesting research, and great to see potential for progress in the field. One day, the sources of GHG will be few -> DACs time to shine!

Has the maritime e-fuel market stepped up their bids on clean fuel?
