Eh, it’s a great developer tool. Trust in that how one wishes. It saves time. It’ll eliminate a developer or admin for a lot of companies, but used without knowing what you’re doing is a security nightmare.

It’ll also get better. Fast.

They aren’t good at writing code. They are as good as the prompter can explain their vision.
It actually isn’t writing generally good code and we’re building a universe of useful crap and future tech legacy. But we’ll use AI to patch it all together again, thinking we’re fixing it. Rinse, repeat.

Pretty sure it’s an American term exclusively. For Appalachian setters from the mudderland.
