Oh my god you guys she’s 4! She just had a birthday! That’s so embarrassing!

It’s so fun and it helps calm them down literally anywhere. In the middle of Target? Break it down solo. Sad to go to daycare? Break it down solo.

It makes everything happier and more fun!

My 3yo is in a dance class and it’s my favorite thing ever because now when she’s sad and crying on the floor because her sister looked at her funny, she turns to me and, still crying, asks, “Momma, can I break it down solo?”

And then gets up to dance.

I’ve used Goodreads for like…..a decade. Switching over seems so daunting but I love a visual!!!

I read 81 books last year.

This year, I read 8. Might finish a 9th by the end of the year.

What will next year bring? The world may never know!

My goal is to actually figure out how to use this app this year!!

Yup, one of my bosses just had to submit a motion to strike all the other side’s pleadings because they’re trying to sue without a lawyer and we realized they’re using AI for everything when all the cases they’re citing…..don’t exist. Trying to sue someone with laws and precedent that don’t exist!

It only took a little over 4 months but my girls *finally* got approved for Medicaid again and I can breathe!

Parenting is buying 6 yogurts and watching them all get eaten In one day.

Then buying 12 yogurts and watching them expire because, “Nobody likes yogurt.”

I cried when I watched Nobody Wants This and Rabbi Noah told Joanne he could handle her cause I didn’t think anyone would ever think that about me but LO AND BEHOLD

Turns out, when all you’ve ever experienced is abuse and toxicity in relationships, someone being Kind and Good and Actually Giving A Shit is really, really scary and can make you push back! Who knew!?

Good news: men like Rabbi Noah who can care about someone enough to get them through the emotionally anxious freak out *do* exist.

Anyway, so what if *I’m* the emotionally unavailable one after all?

I just got mine at CVS soooo easy. Made an appointment online in like 5 seconds (an unnecessary step cause they also take walk ins), walked in, got stabbed, back to work. Whole thing took less than 10 minutes!

Can she send that energy to my kids who need me to cuddle them to sleep every night? I’m so tired.

Yesterday, the new attorney in the office came to work with active Covid, no mask, talking to everyone.

I might cry we JUST got over flu/ear infection sickness pre-Thanksgiving in my house too!

I asked if the girls were getting jammies on and my 6yo yelled back “I already have my jammies on! I’m just at the poop factory!”

Truly! I just want to mindlessly scroll after a full day of having to work hard and fulfill everyone else’s needs.

I haven’t seen a temple since I left Utah and genuinely forgot there was one here. Turns out, Barrett lives right by it! Who knew!?

Had this jump scare earlier while driving to my boss/friend’s house for Thanksgiving dinner!

I mentioned listening to a book to one of my bosses/friend & that it’s “about an actress I love who escaped a cult and also an abusive marriage” and he just looked at me and went “Oh Buddy, little close to home, huh?”

I’m reading Dinner For Vampires right now & reading about her knowing her marriage was toxic right away and sticking it out for 7 years & finally leaving for her daughter is truly wild as someone who knew her marriage was toxic right away, stayed for 7 years, and then left for her daughters.
