So many times i've stared at the wall i feel seen

Just so you’re aware, every library in LA is offering free masks right now due to the fires. Another reason to love libraries! Let’s hope they continue after the fires are over. Masks save lives in many ways.

Today, we mourn the loss of a true American hero, President Jimmy Carter. A champion of human rights, urban renewal, and peace, his legacy will forever inspire.

Ironic. Isn't it?

If it wasn’t for President Jimmy Carter Black Music Month wouldn’t been recognized & decreed to be celebrated nationally in the month of June.

All I knew was that his name was Jimmy Carter, he was running for president & we got the day off from school to take a photo with him.

I did not know that he would win the presidency, or live such a grand and giving life after his term -- an even greater victory.

1. Education...the people are slow walking the country to the death of public education just as they slow walked Roe for 30+ years. The push for vouchers, cleverly cloaked under student scholarships and school choice to help kids in struggling schools 1/

White people are once again missing the fucking point. Ending access to safe abortion was never about White Women in the first place. It was about increasing the maternal death rate of Black mothers and anti Black eugenics which is why White Women voted in favor of it at a rate of 57%
