Sha'dow, Drow in Eorzea, Pls Use Alt Text! 7.3 Spoilers!

(Been roleplaying Sha'dow for more'n a decade and a half, had them in FFXIV for over 6 years now. You 100% right, the world needs more elves, particularly Drow. My partner RPs as their wife (also a Drow), one of the Heroes of the Gate (along with Sha'dow's younger sister). We have a LOT of fun w/it)

BEHOLD! Sha'dow's primary glam the DAY glams are unlocked! (Only change will be the weapon, obviously, which will be the Sophic weapon for that job)

POWERFUL.

They're a Drow, and they're a spellplague sorcerer from Faerûn who trained in the Bardic arts. What's more, they were trained from an early age to be an assassin. Their planeswalking spark ALSO ignited. So uh... Yeah. A LOT makes sense after that.🧵)

(Sha'dow gets their memories back in the Heroes' Gauntlet Dungeon, in 5.3. EVERYTHING makes sense after that. Who they are, and more importantly, WHAT they are (which is a little more terrifying). Why they can use magic that's more than the regular FFXIV DPS magic. Why their BLM magic is so...⤵️

(Depends on the day. If it's a a "family" day, could be any number of people, but Mirri, Ted, and Ten are a common enough one. Dra'lesgosiir, Astarion, and Landra are another common one. Karine, Kaelith, and Mhitra go out frequently, as well.

It just really depends (and yes, THAT Astarion, darling)

Teleporting to the center of the arena, blasting everyone to the outside edges, equidistant apart from each other, the blue arcane fire in their blind right eye that's been glowing the entire time flares brightly as they snap their fingers, freezing everyone in 1/

whatever's in front of them. Since, ya know... It's not like they can kill Sha'dow.🤣

it ever impacted (up to a certain time back, mind you), comes back as if the thing impacted by the spell never existed. It just... Ceases to exist.

But Sha'dow doesn't like using those magics. They have a cost.

A very, very *high* cost. And it's so much easier to just beat the fuck out of ⤵️

use "Build & Destroy," selecting "Destroy," covering the entire "planescape" with spellfire. Or, if they really wanted to make sure the problem ceased to exist, they could just use "Word of Unmaking." The whole place ceases to exist as if it never were. Completely erased from the weave. Anything ⤵️

(Sha'dow has a few signature spells for things like that. Ultima Thule is its own little realm, far and away from all the other "Spheres." So they could use: "Crack Crystal Sphere" and never even deal with it. Just destroy everything there, letting the phlogiston flow in and light it. They could⤵️

(My first character no longer exists. Long since deleted because of harassment. But around the end of Heavensward/Start of Stormblood.

Sha'dow on the other hand... 4/15/2019. Funnily enough, same cheevo! Decided to slip ol' boy in after deleting Diego. Long story, that.)

(Ultima Thule was just **BULLSHIT**. Cheap hits for gut wrenching feels. They hurt us for no reason other than to hurt us. And that was WRONG (the Twins hit me hardest-they may be mid 20s in my timeline, but they're still Sha'dow's KIDS, they shouldn't have to die before their parent. Just wrong.)
