you wanna start with what kinda skin you've got (dry, oily, combination) and what concerns you wanna address (acne, redness, dullness etc) - generally some kinda cleanser and moisturiser is a must, sth to exfoliate is usually good, and then you can put some kinda toner/serum/w/e inbetween
