Bollards for Bath Street? Bath Street - looking down the colonnades towards the Cross Bath - has always been a photo opportunity for our visitors, but I think you'll agree that the whole area has been a bit of a mess of late. Thankfully, the fencing in front of a rank of shops facing Abbey Church Yard has gone - for now. It was there following the small chunk of masonry that fell from the cornice above.

Pensioner’s Hotline! Our Bath MP, Wera Hobbhouse, has been speaking up for senior citizens. She's demanded the creation of a new “Retiree Red Phone” hotline for pensioners, after bombshell new figures revealed that more than 80 million calls to HMRC have gone unanswered over the last decade. Research by the House of Commons Library, commissioned by the Liberal Democrats’ Trade and Investment Spokesperson Joshua Reynolds MP, shows that one in five calls to HMRC went unanswered in the last decade, leaving taxpayers across Bath without support.
