This severe weather system will shift eastward through Wednesday, and present hazards all the way out to the east coast. There's a possibility these risk areas for Wednesday will be upgraded.

Weather modeling is becoming more consistent on a period of discreet supercells forming around midday ahead of the advancing line of storms. Significant hail, strong winds, and several tornadoes will be possible.

Several rather intense jet streaks are expected across the southern plains, fueling the fire weather as well as the development of severe weather in Oklahoma. The most significant severe weather is expected on Tuesday in portions of Northern Louisiana and across Central Mississippi.

Critical to Extremely Critical fire weather will be present in the Western portion of the southern plains over the next couple days, and Severe Weather will get under way in Oklahoma and North Texas tomorrow, before spreading across the South Tuesday and Wednesday.

Several rather intense jet streaks are expected across the southern plains, fueling the fire weather as well as the development of severe weather in Oklahoma overnight tonight.

There will be plenty of low level wind shear present, creating spin ups in the developing line, but also igniting any supercell structures that are present.

Storms should develop around 10-11PM across Western Oklahoma/North Texas and move east into a very moist and unstable environment just after midnight as they near the I-35 & I-44 corridor.

The SPC has upgraded the severe weather risk to Enhanced for tonight in Oklahoma and Texas, including OKC metro, based on an increase in significant tornado parameters in the modeling. This threat will exist between 2-6AM. Multiple to numerous tornadoes are expected across the region.

They’re also telling us they’re not covering the emergency hospital stay last month when my wife’s liver enzyme levels spiked and the doctor told us she needed close monitoring.

They said that because everything worked out, the stay was unnecessary.

I've been waiting for this one to grow another branch so I can propagate again, but doesn't seem to want to do it. My cousin still have some, and I need to try to propagate them the next time I'm down there. I love this plant.

This one is a cutting I took from a bigger plant I lost last year. I dug it out at my uncle's old place in St. Pete, wrapped it in wet Newspaper, and drove it back to Illinois in late winter 2013. I took the cutting later that spring after the mother plant recovered some.

It's a Tree Philodendron (philodendron bipinnatifidum). To propagate, you can just take a stem cutting. Make sure there's at least one leaf on the stem you choose. Put it in some peat mix for about a month and keep it moist. Should root in that time. They like bright indirect light.

Wave heights up to 80 ft are possible along the coast. The storm from 2021 saw a peak wind gust of 159 mph, which is in line with the major hurricane equivalent central pressures. Stay safe Pacific Northwest.
