We are collecting data in 13 countries to understand the geographical, political, and cultural elements of harassment of runners. If you're not in my area I might be able to connect you with a researcher in the team who is!

More on safety: PE is a learning environment not a competitive sport environment. If an activity is causing concerns about safety because of body size/strength differences, does that activity belong on the curriculum? Focus instead on physical literacy, confidence to engage in PA, enjoyment, health

Dr Lois Ferguson asks teachers worried about safety issues in PE to reconsider what safety means by thinking more deeply about physiology differences (i.e. not all boys are the same) when deciding how to play a sport. Or move away from competitive sport in PE to lifestyle sports

Whatever my professional academic achievements or failures in 2024, my great leisure-time success was reading 92 books. I discovered audio books last year, which helped. I always make time for books

A few more pics from Friday's Igniting Creative Methods event here at the University of Bedfordshire - I led a session on sandboxes. Good for those who might think they are not creative (e.g. drawing would be too much pressure)... tactile, fun, meaning-generating. Toy collection is ongoing!
