Surely this cannot be classed as a remake of the Spielberg film? It’s a reinterpretation of the original source and has absolutely nothing to do with the 2005 film (or even the original 1953 film). It’s absolute shite, but shouldn’t be misclassified as a remake when it’s entirely its own thing…
