FWIW the human eye is 17-24mm, so the distortion to 35mm is quite a bit. But it is what allows a flat surface of a photo or screen to appear close to looking at things in 3D space with your eye.

It's an optical illusion as well. Fun stuff eh?

It is a great example of the limitations of usi g photography as a modelling source - you are working from a distortion already.

Sometimes anatomical oddities are an artifact of the lens used by a camera. A 35mm lens tends to flatten and widen, so that off arm angle is distorted. (I tried doing the arm post in front of a mirror and arms don't bend that way.

The stripe on the outfit also magnifies via optical illusion.
