Literally nobody who says "I just think it's sad that people who disagree on whether genocide is good or bad can't get along anymore... 😔 but also like I don't actually have any opinions on that myself so it's fine" has ever come down on the right side of that divide.

Still 4834 words to go, but most of that is fight scene (always an easy edit for me) and a section I know I'm particularly happy with already.

Miraculously, I cut enough that the draft is now 800 words SHORTER than when I started tonight, which I take as a good sign that I'm not being too precious.

Not ever pilot is destined for greatness. Some pilots don't even get the opportunity at any more than mediocrity. Unremarkable quickly becomes redundant.

It's genuinely unlike anything I've ever experience, lmao. It really makes me wonder what other little easily-solved tortures in my life I might be putting up with without realizing it.

Only 48 hours since I got glasses, so it may be too early to tell, but I am very cognizant that I've had some degree of headache every ~3 days for the past two years and so far I haven't had even a whiff since Monday.

Genuinely just kinda thought "oh everyone gets lots of headaches" the whole time.

Okay, I'm definitely not actually finishing final edits in time to publish today. Hopefully tomorrow.
