My thoughts on what's currently going on in the UK.

When I said the various Rowlings and Linehans of Britain were assuming and hoping for the public to act as the unpaid enforcement arm of their crank movement, this is precisely what I meant.

Sometimes you catch it early and can bend the solution in the direction they're heading but sometimes they're so far off that there's no way to make it work and you need an NPC to show up like Clippy and go "it sounds like you're trying to solve a mystery, have you tried..."

As a GM there are few moments as nerve wracking as when the players have completely missed the solution to a puzzle and you have to get them unstuck. Most people find the fun in realising how far off they were but there are a handful that get real mad about it and you don't know until it happens.

He's not on Bluesky so I can talk about him without him behind his back. Working with Ross Harmston is my favourite part of doing APs for this reason. He will pass the ball to anyone and it always scores. He's not the only one by any means but man i cannot get enough of improvising with that man.

Upon reviewing Instagram Trans Pride takes the title for largest number of people I know at an event where I spectacularly failed to bump into any of them. 😅
