Politics, Identity, and the Church: A Conversation with Brad Edwards
I LOVE Brad Edwards' new book (Lots of Keller in there.)
I got a chance to chat with him about it on the J29 Coalition podcast. This conversation was fun and encouraging.

If we don't see church any differently than our non-Christian neighbors, why would they ever accept our invitation to join us on SUN morning?
And if we canβt even describe the truth, goodness, & beauty of life in the Body of Christ, what do we think we're inviting them into?

In our anti-institutional culture, many Christians seem to believe that the most spiritual thing they can do is follow God by following their heart - right out of church.
But that's not Christianity, it's Individualism. And it's why we're coming apart at the seams.

π¨ Big News! π¨ The Reason for Church will release 4/22 via Zondervan Reflective!
Also, I'm honored & beyond grateful to have Michael Keller's Foreword setting the tone. His dad's (Tim Keller) vision for the #Church as a refuge of Gospel sanity & renewal inspired this work & saturates every page.1/4
