There was a highish step yesterday, going to the parking lot. I fell. I asked a passing woman for help and she helped me up and took my bags to the car. That's the first time I fell like that. I needed help today to get up the step to my niece's. I'm 78.

I live in Delaware. We were "iced in". Our DIL spent two days trying to get someone to help us. My husband is slowly dying of kidney disease and I have a back injury. When my husband fell outside, one neighbor across the street was walking around, but never turned our way.
