Delany, also sat on a bench, exsplains she doesn't want her to work for the Automatons but with her. maya is special and asks what Delany is getting out of this. Whilst Delany opens one can of beer, Maya crushes another and explains she wants to maker Super Earth pay. Delany then offers her a beer and the two agree to work together.

Delany and Micky stood infront of a large glowing tank of orange liquid, looking at some floating humanoid suspended in the liquid. The two talk about why they don't look more 'bug like', before going into how their abilities. Four pannels at the bottom of the page indicate the creatures speed, strength, healing factor, and 6th sense, each a depicted in a grueling trial of pain.

Delany and micky talk about the bug diver, discussing how she isn't aware her crew was subjected to this cruel test, and how her friends are dead. We also get a blurred preview of the bug-divers face, and her name 'Maya.

🔴 Ch1: pt7 -pt8 🔴 Project Hybrid

In Helldiver Comic, Delany meets an old friend, 'Micky'. The two discuss their former friendship working for the Ministry of truth. Micky jokes about Delany and Diego working on the field vs taking a cushy job at the Ministry of Truth. Micky gives his condolences and indicates Diego is why Delany and Diego left the Ministry of truth

First frame: Delany and Micky walking towards the camera, discussing why Delany was called here, and Micky explaining how teracide has caused bug mutations in human DNA. Worse, how they have been re-creating the circumstances across 89 helldiver ships to find a military benefit for this mutation Micky caused 'Project Hybrid'.

A helldivers fancomic, Delany and Mike discuss why they chose to experiment on Helldivers, and it having something to do with super-stims and termocide gass. After Delany panics Mike exsplains how it works and how they have it 'under control'. First they strand a helldiver ship in the middle of space, infect the ship, and wait for the mutation to happen. If it goes wrong, they destroy the ship and everyone on board. Delany questions whys he's involved, and if she needs to kill one, Mikey tells her that he needs her to babysit one.

Delany walks with Micky, concerned Project Hybrid only creates monsters. Micky informs her that last month one stabilised and was ready for field testing, that Delany will oversee. We pan out to a large stasis chamber with a body inside and Delany suggest calling it a 'Bug Diver'
