I cope better about that feeling. I have ways I can let it not consume me with anxiety, which is better than I used to be. But it lingers and I don't know if I can shake it away and not be worried how others perceive me.

I always feel like I can't make a mistake or step out of line or be ugly in any way or it all collapses.

And I know all the shit about perfection not being great, I work on it every day. But I'm still ... too afraid that I have to do things right all the time and I can't ask for anything reaching.

Real talk for a moment of vulnerability:

I'm not self-conscious.

I'm scared of not being perfect for the people in my life because I'm afraid if I'm not, they will flee. That they'll run away because I'm ugly underneath or something.
