A small tansy beetle on a patch of tansy, the beetle is endemic to Yorkshire. The beetle itself is small and round, with a beautiful iridescent green colour on its carapace that shines brilliantly, reflecting golden hues and deep Veridian greens.

A riverside pathway alongside York's famous Ouse river. The sun lists gently on the horizon within a gorgeous blue soup of sky before it disappears behind a pair of trees. The ground is bathed in golden light as dusk approaches, setting the surrounding grass ablaze with deep golden hues.

Lovely walk along the riverbank in York, spotted a tansy beetle in the smallest batch of tansy ever. Alongside loads of soldier beetles getting absolutely jiggy with it. I went all in on the alt text for these bad boys. #York
