I've been a UConn Huskies fan since 1995. Have been on the Boneyard since.. 2000? 20001? But this is the first year I paid attention to social media and boy oh boy. The amount of hatred, venom and abuse these players and coaches get is appalling. I'm l shocked by some of the stuff I'm reading.

I am rewatching all 6 seasons of "Madam Secretary", and it's so good.

What about pitchers in Baseball? could also be a really good fit. But, Rugby tried talent transfer and it didn't hit off, so a good plan should be in place to encourage this. I think (think!) that when a sport doesn't have a good foundation in the country it's very hard to get a significant gain.

Speaking of traveling, I just booked a day tour to the Armenian quarter and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and same day, at night, a walking tour of the Christian quarter... on Christmas Eve!

More than traveling, I LOVE planning: where will I stay? Which restaurants will I go to? Which car rental? Everything!! I'll be in Orlando for 10 days and 2 days in Hartford and oh, the joy of Tripadvisor and such. Such joy.

This is the first time since they started broadcasting it, that I'm not watching the World Rugby 7s world series. I 'm disillusioned with this Sport and its' "stars". The way it is run, the safety of players, the inconsistency of referees, antisemitism... I don't miss it at all.

So this coming January I have a flight to the US (13 hours) and a bunch of connecting flights (3-2 hours) there and of course back. I found this great TV show (new for me, old for everyone else) and I'm saving it for the flight but the problem is I want to watch it now!

I get really, really bored on long flights. Or flights, period. Long haul flights freak me out, and I usually have like 20 new books on my kindle, short stories, 3 seasons of a new show and 5 movies I want to watch.
