Sounds like Ninja Gaiden is very much a Platinum game, which completely kills it for me.

I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a gauntlet room in Silksong. I have no idea what compelled them to create so many.

It’s almost always met with a sigh.

Never once while playing Elden Ring did I say “I wish that Stake of Marika wasn’t there”.

Most icons look like the have aliasing issues.

I have a love hate relationship with Silksong.

It plays fantastically well. Exploration is generally fun (made way better by the pleasure of movement).

But balancing is really rough at times. Adds or doubling hazards, is rarely - if ever - enjoyable.

I like playing Silksong.

Overall, enjoying the game. But enemies are in general too tanky. Everything is 3+ hits, most 4+. Reducing that would lower issues around damage to the player and the heal.

Playing the Shinobi demo, it’s cool. Run into a platforming challenge section - nope. Shame.

Somehow lost about 10 hours of playtime in Wuchang… unbelievable.

I don't know whether its just my dire news feeds and media algorithms, but the "need to use AI more" push from companies is a sign that the benefit isn't being understood, or possibly more likely, the benefit is not there for the vast majority of folks.
