They have the nerve to say that the data they will collect on people entering and leaving the country for 75 years. Oh no, ICE would never abuse anything. If that was the case, data should be destroyed either after the person leaves the country, or keep it for a year...but 75 years? Yikes!

Ahwell at least ICE has been given even more money so they can now scrape social media and use that to threaten people and silence them. For instance you would want to save as much of the East Wing itself just to save it for the future in case repairs needed to be made on the rest of the White House. Just seeing how Trump lied and did not give a shit, his envelope pushing will eventually lead him to destroy the rest of it.

All my life I've been heavily into carpentry so when I saw the East Wing being knocked down, there were so many architectural elements he destroyed. It was hard to watch. Just seeing the windows not being saved told me Trump probably destroyed more than just that. What else could have been saved?

I'm not happy about the White House thing myself. I went awhile ago to DC to take in the sights and sounds, had a great time, alas there wasn't enough time for the White House tour and I regret that, because now something historic has been destroyed. Now it will be a ballroom, guess I won't go now.

There doesn't seem to be any laws to really protect the country from people like Trump. It's very partisan that the republicans ignore the 25th or people still can use their 2nd amendment rights. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, aside from thoughts and prayers nothing is protecting our youth.

Trump looks at the constitution as an old piece of paper written with things Trump is too lazy to read about. If he's going to trash the first Amendment, what about all the other Amendments? If he ignores the first, what about all the others? It's like Trump's situation isn't covered by the law.

There is a lot in here that covers a lot of what is going on. Does 2nd Amendment rights just apply the right to defend yourself & your family and it stops there? It goes on to threats to liberty, it then goes on to talk about it being a check on government power, resisting a tyrannical government.

The explanation was the same. The 2nd Amendment protects Americans rights to bear arms. Usually the person would start with self defense. But it almost never stopped right there. Then they went on to say its function when it comes to government overreach, a check of government power.

There is one thing I question about whats happening in the US where I question why everyone is so silent. The 2nd Amendment. Growing up and during my adulthood whenever I was visiting and I wasn't being American enough, a lot of the time I would hear "this is why we protect our 2nd Amendment rights"
