1. A sweet iced mocha—especially on a warm afternoon, *especially* if I'm sipping it on my porch and either enjoying the weather, or on call with one of my friends, having a "long-distance coffee date."

I am so hype for this, you guys 👀 From the delightful familiar faces to the obvious love (and creative joy!) that went into this issue, I just know it's going to be a blast.

This is one of the rare exceptions to my complaints about the FL humidity. Agreed! Sometimes a brief summer shower is just lovely.

My biggest current WIP is a feather-stitch blanket. Almost two feet in, I'm about a third of the way through! It's a real yarn-eater, but with all of the dipping back and forth, those puffy stitches make it very cushy! (As you can see in the photo where Maggie has claimed it as a cat bed.)

So you know how I mentioned getting back into crochet? Well, the cats—Maggie and Dinah, in particular—have been "helping" as my quality testers...

That seems like a good start, right?

Aaa, congratulations! How did it go?? I'm in two consistent long-term campaigns at the moment, and I just know I'm going to be Emotionally Compromised™ whenever they reach their ends.

Oh, this looks incredibly cool! I have always loved Fey Nonsense, and have recently been dipping back into fey backgrounds and ancestries for my PCs. With all of the overlap between traditional abilities/lore for faeries and demons, this seems like a natural (and potentially terrifying) combo.

Semi-related to my most recent post: I have found that Bsky often displays posts without the attached photos or images. I've poked all through my settings and tried Googling, but haven't found a relevant explanation or solution—any of my more seasoned friends here have an idea?

Likewise, I am not really used to BSky yet, but won't get used to it without practice! Such conundrum, very struggle!

I have really got to become more active over here! It's just so hard to break the habit after spending so much time on The Other Blue App, and being used to some level of engagement there. But I won't get to engage and chat with people here unless I'm active!

My thoughts re: GMs & Game Designers

I've often said that if you write, you are a writer. It doesn't matter if you're published or if that draft is forever stuck in WIP. That doesn't make you a "professional" writer, but you are still a writer.

I own SO MANY now thanks to a few awesome bundles, and I've barely touched any of them. I'm working on fixing that!

Three that have been on my list a long time (and are all now in my library) are Untitled Moth Game, The Magus, and Anamnesis.

But I'm excited to get to know new people, network a bit, and connect with other friends who've made the jump here from The Other Blue Site. So hello, hello! Hail and well met, friends new and old. :)
