They wanted a less fun and more serious team, and this is the result of that

They 100% did. And other than his bullpen management, I think he managed to get more out of the team

They went on that 46-28 run when he took over halfway through 2022. Since then, they’re now 179-181 with last nights loss. It’s just absolute mid mediocrity and nobody seems to have any sense of urgency to do anything about it

They’ll win a few games in a row, but they’ll immediately throw that away and lose a few games in a row.

We do just enough to gain momentum, and then we suck for 4 or 5 games in a row.

What frustrates me the most about the past couple of seasons isn’t the struggling offence or the lack of power, it’s that these John Schneider led teams have just been mid.
