This scene from B99 is how my brain has been since Saturday. My dad doesn’t want to meet my baby at the hospital but invited himself to our house (we’ve said no visitors already) then said it wasn’t about me, it’s only about the baby.

I’ve been fuming ever since.

I swear that my baby knows their mom is anxious.

The first ultrasound, I saw them as soon as they got the wand in place.

Today, the nurse said it might take a minute to find the heartbeat & bam, heard it as soon as she put the Doppler on me.

She said the baby knew I didn’t need more stress 😂

My favorite thing to do is tell my conservative family that my baby is currently a they/them because they don’t have genitalia yet 😂

Why don’t people have more kids? It’s expensive even before we have them. This is the bill, after insurance, for our first ultrasound (just 1). And some people need more than 2 during their pregnancy.

Telling our parents and siblings that I’m pregnant has been so much fun. All the shock and surprise has been cracking me up.

Also this is the first social media to know, we’re waiting a couple more weeks to announce it on the big socials
