Fun fact: The entire flashback was technically an adaptation of A SINGLE PANEL from the manga, and the cliffhanger where they all get turned into cards was just completely made up for the anime.

Probably one of the greatest filler episodes of all time (right below Goku's Ordeal).

It reminds me of a plotline from Toqger where the red ranger slowly started emitting darkness from within himself and got a stronger pitch-black suit until his friends snapped him out of it and helped him get an even stronger RAINBOW suit, I wonder if something similar is gonna happen here?
