Eventually, we started renting movies from the TV instead of going to the store, and just like that... it was over. I don’t think I miss the content as much as I miss the experience of going there with my parents, then spending Saturday night watching a movie together.

I was really sad when the PC section disappeared. At the time, I didn’t understand that CD protection was the reason they stopped offering PC games. At least the PlayStation games stuck around a little longer.

What’s the one thing you’ll never forget about Video Stores?

For me, it was going there with my parents almost every weekend. I'd head straight to the video game section to check out the PC and PlayStation games they had. There was one game I rented multiple times Gunman Chronicles #videostore #90s
