It's pretty funny that Afterbirth almost exclusively use uninteligible "toilet bowl" style vocals; The lyrics for their songs is some pure fucking poetry. Seriously. Whomever writes their lyrics (I assume is Will) is a master with words.

The worst part of a vacation is when it ends. Gonna be back in Florida by tomorrow night. I guess the bright side is I'll be sleeping in my own bed.

Just finished reading Wool by Hugh Howey. I'm not the biggest fan of dystopian sci-fi books, but this one starts and ends strongly. I found some parts around the middle tested my patience and enjoyment, but ultimately felt like a good and worthwhile read.

Yeah, I agree. It's just that type of person to also say, "I don't care about the message, I just like the music" and the like.

It is true that it is actually impossible to separate the art from the artist when the artist is a nazi making music with nazi messaging.

It is genuinely surprising to me that Peste Noire has fans. I know people go on about "separate the art from the artist" and shit like that, but Peste Noire's music is just bafflingly bad.

Like, you don't agree with their nazi messages, cool, but their music is fucking garbage even outside of that.

I started reading the book Recursion by Blake Crouch last night, and I honestly didn't want to put it down. I finished it in its entirety before lunch today, and it is I N C R E D I B L E.

The whole story is one mind-blowing moment after another. Ffo thrillers or sci fi. Read it!

While his music isn't a big part of my journey as a metalhead (Blasted Crazy Train a lot in highschool though), it's undoubtedly true that metal music would not be what it is now without Black Sabbath, which Ozzy was an integral part of.
