It's not that steam servers are sacrificing themselves, it's that everyone is trying to buy silksong and steam servers can only handle so many people buying. :P

i love twitter. when i said this, i got a lot of 'smart guy' 'captain obvious' 'missed the joke' stuff, when there's genuinely people that don't know how servers work, so i clarify in the event that they find something like that. :')

trying to fight for silksong in the steam store is the digital equivalent of trying to buy a switch 2 on release.
