The Lee's Summit Democrats continue to grow! Over 80 people packed the house for last night’s meeting.

People are ready to flip these House and Senate seats and send a message to the Republican supermajority, uphold the will of the voters or be voted out!

News that Trump has sent orders to MO Republicans to carve up the 5th falls right in line with the disrespect for the will of the voters we have seen from Republicans in our state. This year they voted to overturn our vote on paid sick leave, minimum wage, and to once again ban abortion in MO.

Senator Klobuchar has been a champion for the working class, including passing legislation to lower prescription drug costs that saved seniors $1.5 billion in one year. She fights for our farmers & rural communities & has worked hard to defend the fundamental values at the core of our Constitution.

The Missouri Legislative Black Caucus has a press conference TOMORROW on the special session to split the 5th congressional district.

They are calling on elected officials, community leaders, and partners who oppose this effort to stand with them. We hope to see everyone there!
