Yes! I usually start chasing at 5 or 6 months wait
27.04.2025 11:42 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0While I thought it was much longer, my data says longest was 9 months (the revised version then took another 7 months, hence my recollection of a long wait); shortest 3 weeks. Median (N=36) is 3 months

I agree indeed that the CV and capacity to deliver are not the same thing and hence CV (narrative or not) is not useful. The fact that in TFS, the section for narrative CV is called "applicant and team capability to deliver", is laughable
04.04.2025 20:28 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Interesting view. I've seen the opportunity in a narrative CV (writing and reviewing) to tailor information, providing specific evidence of the capacity to deliver a project (highlighting aspects of experience which is not obvious to state in a traditional CV) alongside being a broad researcher.

05.03.2025 22:45 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I got lucky: I travelled to Swansea for a viva planned tomorrow. I asked the University to book accommodation for me, asking for 1 night on Wednesday 4th... which obviously does not exist, and the room was booked for yesterday. 1 room left at the hotel, and they only asked for the price difference!
