If they insist on cutting federal spending then blue money need to come back to blue state farmers, blue state families, and blue state businesses.
To be honest we are tired their grift and scandals.
Maybe its time to stop giving red states our money?

Been talking to some MAGAs about the changes to the FEDGOV. Iโm a little shocked their poor understanding of the what is needed to sustain a democracy that is legitimate & representative to ALL

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
HOPE YOU HAVE AN AMAZING 2026! ๐ฅ๐
What a tough year 2025 was, glad its over. Felt like forever in the trenches...
...wait wut, its only end of January?
I hope you can continue to approach this topic with an open mind and continue to ask questions.
Always remember this is very new technology and we are all learning about what it can do.
happy to continue to answer questions and debate!
Final point, ppl still seem to hyperfocus on price 'bubbles'. Tbh this is a distraction because all assets can have bubbles. eg housing in 2009, tech stocks in 2000, Pepper in the middle ages
I could go on of course
There is nothing wrong with the ebb & flow of investors trying to make a buck.
You can clearly see his journey towards accepting crypto and his points about regulations are valid.
I'm glad you've started your journey too! The first part is always the hardest ๐

Importantly he makes a very strong argument FOR crypto in this conclusion and building a sound regulatory framework for crypto to work within (we absolutely everyone who is anyone in the crypto industry agrees with).
31.01.2025 17:56 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Just one year later (2022), the author, Eswar Prasad wrote a Time article separating the bubbly aspects of crypto verses the "useful" aspects of the technology.
If bitcoin is backed by 'nothing' why would he say that?
But let's take a step back.
Everyone struggles with the idea of bitcoin (even the author), I did as well when i started to learn about this, because its so new and so different to what we are used to. It takes time for ppl to learn about its value
Wayne, apols if my last msg sounded curt
Read the article and it looks like your grabbing (old 2021) articles that confirm your viewpoint
The article actually proves the opposite. If BC is backed by "nothing" then why does your author say this paragraph?
Notice the bit about decentralized trust?
Yeah I hear you! I donโt invest in memecoins any more. I only scalp them. I go to cash when structure is broken.
31.01.2025 15:40 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Actually truth be told the #1 priority for GOP is extending the tax cuts for the wealthy.
To do so they need to make deep cuts into gov't spending so they can pass the bill.
They will also make the gov't a subsidiary of their corporations.
Everything else is a distraction, even crypto.
