Yeah, you'll see them labelled by "type" and "generation" (Type 4 Gen 3 or Type 4 Gen 4 etc) but "Type" is all that matters. I went through this same faff when I first bought a card with the splitter like that a couple of months ago and it took me ages to get my head around which bits mattered.

Any of the 8 pin ones should be fine. I think some brands have in the past differentiated between the 8 pin PCIE and 8 pin CPU sockets but looking at yours it looks like they're interchangeable (which is the usual way). Everything else will have a different number of pins and so the cable won't fit.

You should be able to buy them individually, just look up whatever your PSU is and they should have something on their site saying what type it uses. Usually about £5-10.

Oh just clocked it's the Ti, that's a 275W card so yeah I'd definitely want a second cable in there.

It'll run but you might get cut outs under heavy load. 4070 is a 200W card and the cables supply 150W each. Card can draw another 75W through the motherboard slot but you're not giving yourself much headroom if it spikes. Worst that will happen is it'll crash though, you'll not damage anything.
