I didn’t leave X because people there had different opinions and ideologies, I left because it stopped being fun. I get on social media to chat with people who think thinking is fun. X stopped being a place where that was true.

I get annoyed when a movie/game character puts down their weapon (like the only thing stopping the bad guys from coming closer) because the badguy says put it down.
It has the same energy of someone being chased who then throws away their weapon because they don't see the villain lurking anymore.

All in all I wanted more from the game. I wanted certain quests to go on longer and I wanted some conversations to have more depth. Still I had lots of fun 😊

I loved the addition of missives, faction relationship, iconic companion personalities, the crossroads quests and some quality of life improvements.
It just didn't feel as fleshed out as I wanted it to be. Especially since it had approximately 10yrs in the oven.
The dragon age lore made it amazing.

- In my opinion, Solas would have been a better villain/final boss than the old Gods. I would have felt so conflicted having to fight an old friend. Would have loved the opportunity to even side with him. Because I am genuinely curious to see how it all existed before the veil fell. 😶‍🌫️

Now I have allowed veilguard to sink in.

Mini feedback:
- combat is fun but doesn't give freedom to strategize/be tactical.
- companions get lots of quests which gives you a chance to know about their backstory/goals but outside of that you don't get a chance to speak with them.
