i have to say, as a trans journalist who has covered the "trans debate" for about a decade now, there is no daylight between how the trump administration and conservatives lie about tylenol and autism and how they've lied about youth trans care.

IT'S OFFICIAL: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York State, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and New York City have formed the Northeast Public Health Collaborative.

The collaborative will issue their own vaccine recommendations and coordinate public health efforts.

It's important to realize what precipitated this was Nexstar announcing they pulled showing Kimmel on their affiliates. They're currently waiting for the FCC to loosen restrictions to enable their massive merger. This was as much pay to play by a corporation as it was censorship.

Penn State trustees rejected a deal to transfer the university's public media outlet (WPSU) to WHYY. As a result WPSU will shut down.

One trustee said he was upset the deal didn't guarantee employment for all WPSU staff.

And so he voted for a scenario that guarantees they'll lose their jobs.

Disgusting. A completely manufactured market that could be quickly obsolete with policy change.
