They can't keep up with the detainees they have. They don't feed them properly, give them their medications, provide hygiene products, or access to attorneys. DOJ attorneys are not able to keep up with the work volume, so detainees remain longer. And they want to build more of these hell holes.

Only TX, CA, and FL have more folks locked up than ICE does.

How is this not THE most wasteful policy ever? Why are my tax dollars paying for detention of people for civil rights violations? AND each day these people are kept out of the workforce, the overall economy is suffering, daily life in communities is disrupted. #AbolishDHS altogether.

- The number of people held in ICE detention on any given day increased by over 75% in one year

- With the funding provided by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, ICE has enough funding to operate upwards of 135,000 detention beds through the end of FY 2029.
