My Mom is also autistic, but she is *highly* empathetic. She finds that many neurotypicals are not very empathetic towards neurodivergent people. The expectation is that we 'change', or 'adapt', or 'learn' to be more like them. They don't get that it's not a choice.

For some of us, yes, there are.

For others, much is forgiven/overlooked for the sake of money & perceived power.

Our deepest sympathies for your loss. Missy Bobtail will be sorely missed. 💔

I’ve not watched Episode 2 in a while (just never returned lately even as a prequel fan) but:

Star Wars Episode 9: Rise of Skywalker, was NEVER bad.

NEVER.

It ended the sequel trilogy on a cathartic, satisfying note, and I’ll never stop fighting others’ attempts to belittle it and its fans.

Mom says thanks. She says she should post another pix, 'cause most of the perennials are in bloom now, but it's raining and she doesn't really feel like going outside 🤷🏼‍♀️

And this is the garden at the foot of the hill. If you zoom in, you see some old stuff on the right, all discards from her in-laws old shed. On the wheelbarrow are all annuals, the garden is all perennials. The rocks were dug up from our driveway as they surfaced.

This is a small hill in front of Mom's kitchen window. This summer she covered the very thin layer of soil that is over the bedrock hidden there with a 2" geogrid and filled it with garden soil and sowed wildflowers.

This is how it looks now. She'll seed it again next spring.
